Job Summary

The Arizona Serve Director of Grant Administration will direct administrative functions by spearheading partner invoicing and contracts. They will coordinate payroll and reimbursements while being the lead liaison with the Prescott College Business Office. They will manage a cohort of AmeriCorps State members in Southern Arizona, while contributing to broader program development and support. This position reports to the Executive Director of Arizona Serve.

Essential Responsibilities

Administrative Financial Support

  • Serve as the liaison between Arizona Serve and Prescott College Business Office.
  • Oversee the writing and collection of Arizona Serve partner MOUs.
  • Program Financial Compliance; Assist with preparing member payroll, check requests and reimbursements, and invoicing program partners for AmeriCorps State and VISTA members.

Program Coordination

  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of a select cohort of members
  • Complete and manage all direct reporting member files from onboarding through exit
  • Plan and implement member and site supervisor training, including: on-site orientation, initial and ongoing site supervisor training
  • Provide individualized support and coaching for AmeriCorps State members
  • Hold regular check-in meeting with the State members and their host sites
  • Provide input and suggestions for AmeriCorps State Federal grants and continuations
  • Represent Arizona Serve and National Service at local, state and national events
  • Participate in collaborative partnership with the Prescott College campuses, staff, and faculty in both Prescott, AZ and the K-20 Changemaker Campus in Tucson
  • Assist with the Pima County Food Recovery Program.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Previous national service experience highly desirable
  • Ability to speak publicly
  • Significant knowledge of budgeting and financial management required
  • Compliance and quality assurance experience highly desirable
  • Experience developing and managing partnerships with nonprofits, government
  • agencies, or educational institutions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills, including report writing
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google apps
